The travel from Guayaquil to Sullana city takes about 11 hours, going trhough the distance of 324 mi (522 km). At the Plaza and surroundings you may appreciate the hybrid developmentof the urban culture of Sullana, where modernity and Andean tradition converge. Another tourist attraction is the Plazuela Grau, where you can find a monument in honour of the admiral Miguel Grau, the most important hero of the naval history of Peru. The ecological tourism is the other type of tourism to do in Sullana. The Chira river offers the possibility of exploring the natural environment through sailing. You can rent a boat or board an embarkation to fish in its water or even practice an aquatic sport.
