Puquio

Puquio is an important city economically and culturally inside the province of Lucanas, in the Ayacucho department. It's located in the range mountain of the South of Peru, in the river Acarí watershed. Puquio offers a variety of natural and cultural attractions as a tourist destination.The Plaza de Armas conserve the tradition of the republican architecture, and it's one of the biggest of the province. Another outlined place is the Matriz church, old edification of the city, where the image of Jesús de Puquio child rests.
